Technology Tools and Deafness

Hearing technologies

Hearing Devices range from personal hearing aids and FM Systems to Cochlear Implants. These technologies have improved dramatically in the past ten years. Digital hearing aids allow people to have their hearing aids programmed for their specific loss.

Vendors are a great place to get information. Since the companies are selling the products, they have a lot of information about the features of the products. They can provide information about exactly what they can do to improve hearing. It is important to research different kinds of products and companies. Many research centers and educational centers also have information available.
