Three on-the-road technology trainers provide teachers and their pre-K through 12th grade deaf and hard-of-hearing students with support in all areas of technology use at all levels from novice through advanced user. Trainers assist in all areas of technology use including these:
- providing current technology information
- determining equipment needs
- evaluating software for use with students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- on-site training on computer equipment, software, and peripherals
- ongoing skill development for a wide variety of software
- integrating technology into all areas of instruction

Technology Training Specialist, Nada El-Khoury, works with teachers in the southern part of Florida. Nada has classroom experience in a public middle school program and used a LOT of technology when she was teaching. | Brian Newton is a Technology Specialist, and works mostly with teachers on the midwest coast of Florida. He taught six years in the Deaf Middle School at the Florida School for the Deaf.
