Making Web Sites

MAKING WEB PAGES

Want to make your own web page? You can make student worksheets, assignments, scavenger/internet hunts, etc. into web pages. If you want a page to keep your students on task, so they will go to the pages "out there" that you have identified to have information you want your students to use, create a Curriculum Hotlinks Page. In the same amount of time it takes to type up a newsletter, you could have your own curriculum web page!!

There are a variety of programs you can use to make your own web pages. Appleworks and Microsoft Word allow you to save your documents "ready for the Web" in HTML format. Netscape Composer is a FREE program that is part of Netscape Communicator.

Don't forget to look at our resources for Copyright Free images to use for your Web sites and other multimedia projects!! We also have a page on WebQuests!
