Kid Pix for Deaf Learners - Kid Pix is very visual and allows students to create. Activities and projects can be created for any topic or subject. Kid Pix is a great tool for early learners to develop technology literacy while increasing motivation. Students' work can be set up into slide show demonstrations. Students can make digital books. This is a great tool for the classroom.

Kid Pix Studio Deluxe (KPSD) is a powerful authoring package for elementary-aged students. This program allows students to create pages to use individually or in a slide show presentation. Students can use art/drawing tools, text boxes, and activity templates. This program is only limited by ones imagination. If you need guidance in organizing and managing the use of this program in your classroom, the next paragraph describes a very helpful tool. Kid Pix Studio Deluxe Activity Kits are a wonderful resource for any teacher using KPSD. Teacher Created Materials intergrated units has united with Kid Pix Studio Deluxe. There are many hands on activities, as well as, reproducable worksheets to use in your classroom.
There are ready-made activities in the KPSD Activity Kits programs at three different levels of learning. Students have templates to create journals, graphs and charts, and other KPSD documents. A great package to supplement and organize the use of Kid Pix Studio Deluxe.
