
Appleworks is a software suite with word processing, spreadsheet, drawing, database, and communications applications all in one! Appleworks comes with templates (Stationary and Assistants) to make a variety of functional documents. Templates are available to make business cards, calendars, certificates, newsletters, brochures, presentations, and the list continues on! This is a great and often overlooked resource for use in the classroom and at home!

You can create Newsletters, Letterhead, Tables, Math Worksheets, Seating Charts, Gradebooks, Rubrics, Budgets, Assignment Sheets, Progress Reports, Certificates, Lables, and much, much more!!!

Handouts with tutorials related to Appleworks Version 5 are available to download below. The handouts are .pdf files. These files can be read on both Windows machines andMacs using Acrobat Reader. Exceptional Computing has a page on their site for curriculum resources. There are five Appleworks/Clarisworks lessons available to download. If you use Appleworks in your classroom, these lessons could make your life and your students lives a whole lot easier! Great activities!
Slideshow or Presentation Ideas to use EVERYDAY! The slideshow is a very effective way to present information without losing it when you need to clear the board. Each week, you can utilize the same template and change the content. All the materials are digitally stored for next year's class without the need to search through fading worksheets and without re-writing again and again.
