Amazing Space
This site features seven web-based educational presentations for young children about space. It was developed by the Space Telescope Science Institute.

Apollo to the Moon
Learn about space vehicles and look at colour pictures.

Asteroids, Comets, and Meteoroids Theme Page
Collections of useful Internet educational resources within a narrow curricular topic and contain links to two types of information. Students and teachers will find curricular resources (information, content...) to help them learn about this topic. In addition, there are links to instructional materials (lesson plans), which will help teachers provide instruction in this theme.

Astronomy for Kids
This is an astronomy site for kids. You will find word searches to print and solve, sky maps to find out what's happening in the sky for the month, information about meteor showers and much more.

The Constellations and their Stars
At this site you can learn about constellations and stars. They are listed alphabetically, by month and by popularity.

Eyes on the Sky, Feet on the Ground
This site is very useful to teachers wanting space activities and information for their class. You will find many activities with directions.

Lots of interesting and useful Space data, pictures etc.

Jet Propulsion Laboratory Education Gateway: Space Lesson Plans
This site has many, many lesson plans on a space theme for elementary and high school grades.

Liftoff to Space Exploration
Learn about space stations-Russia's Mir and space labs. Learn about living in space and explore the universe. There are kid's stories, artwork, science and puzzles.

NASA Lewis Learning Technologies Project -
This site has some Educator Resources as well as some Aeronautic Educational Resources. The Aeronautic Educational Resources section contains a Beginner's Guide to Aerodynamics as well as a free aerodynamics program that you can download (for both platforms).

NASA Links for Kids
Links to Space sites that kids might be interested in.

Prince George Astronomical Society of Canada
Visit Prince George, British Columbia's Observatory. You can view pictures of the moon and stars as well as get links to other space sites.

SEGway for Educators (SEG = Science Education Gateway)
Lesson plans and objectives for elementary and high school grades. There are worksheets and activities to print with some of the lesson plans.

Solar Eclipse -
If you missed the last total solar eclipse of the century on August 11, point your browser to this site and click on the Webcast Archive. The site is maintained by the Exploratorium in San Francisco. it also explains why eclipses happen, their history, and how to safely view them.
